Key Responsibilities
- Provide assessment, planning, and coordination of resident care in accordance with facility standards and individualized care plans
- Administer medications and treatments to residents, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Monitor and document residents’ conditions, reporting changes to appropriate staff
- Safeguard residents’ property, privacy, and confidentiality, promoting independence and dignity
- Maintain safe, clean, and orderly living environments for residents
- Use electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and efficiently
- Operate transfer equipment (e.g., gait belts, lifts, slide boards) safely to ensure resident comfort and safety
- Respond promptly to resident call lights and emergencies
- Educate residents and their families/significant others regarding care plans and procedures
- Follow all safety, fire, and disaster protocols
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing school
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure valid for practice in North Dakota
- Basic life support (BLS) certification
- Knowledge of medications, nursing skills, and safety procedures
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing facilities (SNF)
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
