Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel assignment
• Shift: 4 days per week, 10.5-hour day shifts (6:30 AM – 5:00 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care in the Operating Room setting for adult patients.
• Coordinate and implement patient care according to unit standards and policies.
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgical procedures to ensure safety and quality care.
• Collaborate with surgical teams, physicians, and support staff to facilitate smooth operations.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Adapt to changing schedules and respond effectively to emergency situations in the OR.

Required Qualifications

• Current New Mexico RN license or valid Compact state license.
• BLS Certification.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• At least 1 year of OR nursing experience.
• Knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
• Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism.
