Key Responsibilities
- Provide in-home nursing care to patients within the home health setting.
- Administer medications, monitor patient health, and document care activities using the Home Health Certification and Documentation System (HCHB).
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Assist patients with daily living activities and promote health and wellness education.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare policies, procedures, and safety standards.
- Travel to patient homes within the Asheville area, requiring reliable transportation.
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina.
- Prior home health nursing experience required.
- Ability to perform nursing procedures common in home health settings.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Reliable transportation for home visits.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with hospice care is a plus.
- Familiarity with home health technology and documentation systems.
- Compassionate patient-centered approach to care.
