Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized neonatal intensive care to premature and critically ill infants
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, delivering appropriate treatments and interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using hospital electronic medical record systems
• Assist with procedures such as central line insertions, circumcisions, and PDA ligations
• Support and educate families about infant care and treatment plans

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of NICU experience in a Level III environment
• Current BLS and NRP certifications
• Experience managing preemies (28 weeks and above), including those with tracheostomies and Broviacs
• Proficiency in respiratory management, including ventilated and intubated patients
• Ability to perform procedures such as central line insertions and exploratory surgeries

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for infants less than 27 weeks gestation
• Skilled in managing complex cases like gastroschisis and PDA ligations
• Familiarity with hospital documentation systems such as Meditech and CPN
• Experience with high-acuity neonatal patients, including ventilator management
