- Full-time, nights, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Medical Care/Progressive Care Unit and Stepdown Unit.
- Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and respond to patient needs promptly.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
- Respond to emergencies and provide critical care as needed within scope of practice.
- Float within scope across units to meet facility needs.
Required Qualifications
- Active South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN license.
- BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a PCU, Stepdown, or similar unit.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience in a Level I Trauma Center, teaching hospital, or Magnet-designated facility.
- Experience with EPIC electronic charting system.
- Strong critical thinking and patient assessment skills.
