Schedule / Job Type
• Night shift, 12 hours per shift, 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
• Assist with cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures in the CVOR setting
• Maintain aseptic technique and handle cardiovascular/thoracic instruments with precision
• Prepare, scrub, and circulate during surgeries such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve replacements
• Ensure proper documentation of equipment and procedures using the charting system
• Operate and monitor surgical equipment, including crash carts, and adhere to safety protocols
Required Qualifications
• Scrub experience in the OR setting
• 5+ years of total CST (Certified Surgical Tech) experience
• 2+ years of cardiac and vascular surgery experience
• 1+ year of CVOR experience
• 1+ year experience in a Level I Trauma facility
• Experience with cardiovascular and thoracic instrument reprocessing
• BLS certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Familiarity with cardiovascular procedures such as CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, and valve surgeries
• Strong aseptic and safety procedures knowledge

Additional Information
Candidates must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing. Only submit to one location; the team will select the best fit. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate. A valid compact or state license is required for RNs; MRI techs must have Ohio license if applicable. References from managerial or leadership roles are required.
