Schedule / Job Type
- Travel | Full-time | Night shifts (6:30 PM – 5:00 AM, Mon-Thu) | 4 shifts per week | 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform all general and vascular ultrasound procedures independently, including ultrasound-guided interventions such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, abscess drainage, and US-guided procedures.
- Provide exceptional patient care and customer service in a hospital environment.
- Document procedures accurately using MEDITECH and Centricity PACS systems.
- Maintain proficiency with GE LOGIC 9 equipment and adhere to department policies.
- Respond to emergent ultrasound procedures, often requiring advanced skills and quick decision-making.
Required Qualifications
- ARDMS / ARRT Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT) certification.
- Proficiency in all general and vascular ultrasound procedures.
- Ability to independently perform ultrasound-guided interventions.
- Experience with emergent ultrasound procedures preferred.
- Must be able to work night shifts and handle variable patient ratios.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous hospital ultrasound experience, especially in a similar setting.
- Knowledge of GE LOGIC 9 equipment and MEDITECH documentation system.
- Experience with ultrasound-guided procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, and abscess drainage.
