• Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts, travel/localsupported

Key Responsibilities

• Provide independent nursing care in the emergency department, including routine and complex patient management.
• Administer medications and treatments using established protocols, monitoring for side effects and effectiveness.
• Document patient history, symptoms, medication, and care provided accurately.
• Assess patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs, delivering appropriate education to patients and families.
• Make appropriate patient care assignments and delegate tasks to care providers to assist in managing clinical situations.
• Demonstrate leadership competencies, including self-leadership and supporting team collaboration.

Required Qualifications

• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications from AHA.
• RN license in the state of New Mexico or a multi-state compact license.
• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in an emergency department or similar setting.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in emergency or critical care nursing preferred.
• Ability to work independently and handle contingencies in high-pressure situations.
