Registered Nurse PACU

Job Title
• Registered Nurse - PACU

Location
• Seaside, OR

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, day shift (4x10 hours), working 4 days per week

Key Responsibilities
• Provide post-anesthesia and pre-anesthesia care within a blended PACU and Pre-Op unit
• Float between units as needed to accommodate patient care requirements
• Manage patient care according to clinical judgment based on acuity and standard protocols (ASPAN and state regulations)
• Ensure safe patient transitions through phases of post-operative recovery and pre-operative preparation
• Participate in on-call rotations, including weekends and holidays, as part of departmental coverage
• Follow hospital protocols and provide documentation using Epic charting system

Required Qualifications
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon (or pending license)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent PACU or perioperative nursing experience
• Proficiency in Epic electronic health record system
• Ability to work flexible on-call schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Must have a vehicle for travel between hospital units or nearby facilities

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Experience working in a critical access hospital or similar low-resource setting
• Knowledge of blended pre-anesthesia/post-anesthesia care environments
• Ability to float within hospital departments and affiliate facilities as needed
• Strong clinical judgment in managing patient acuity and care interventions
