• Full-time, days shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient outcomes and adjust respiratory care plans accordingly within a multidisciplinary team.
• Provide patient education and instructions regarding respiratory conditions, interventions, and discharge processes.
• Share clinical expertise with staff and students, serving as a role model for best practices.
• Plan, implement, and assess the effectiveness of respiratory treatments and therapies ordered by physicians.
• Communicate regularly with medical and nursing staff to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Accept reassignment to other units as needed to support the healthcare team.

Required Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in respiratory therapy or related field
• Valid Illinois Respiratory Therapist license
• BLS certification
• NRP-MHC certification

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience working in a hospital or clinical setting (nice-to-have)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to adapt to various clinical environments
