Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
• Perform responsible nursing procedures based on doctors' orders, standards of care, and hospital policies.
• Support patients and their families through comprehensive inpatient care in a 5-bed ICU setting.
• Assist with after-hours recovery of post-operative general surgery, pediatric, and obstetrics patients as needed.
• Float periodically to Emergency Department, Medical/Surgical, or Pediatric units based on census needs.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher.
• Current unrestricted RN license to practice in the United States.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within 6 months of hire.
• Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) certification within 6 months of hire.
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience working in rural or culturally diverse healthcare settings is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and adapt to a variety of patient care situations.
