• Full-time, night shifts, 4 shifts per week, 10 hours per shift

Key Responsibilities

• Provide post-anesthesia care and recovery for a diverse surgical patient population, including neurosurgery, orthopedics, trauma, and more.
• Monitor and manage patients with invasive lines, artificial airways, ICP monitoring, and vasoactive medications.
• Recognize and manage dysrhythmias and other complications, ensuring patient safety.
• Administer blood products, starting IVs, and manage ventilated patients within a Level I Trauma Center setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver high-quality critical care to adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients.
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols, ensuring quality patient care and safety standards.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in Missouri (or compact license if applicable) in hand at time of submission
• Minimum of 2–3 years of Level 1 ICU experience, with strong critical care skills
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Critical care experience in an inpatient, trauma, or PACU setting, including dysrhythmia management and invasive monitoring
• Experience with blood product administration, starting IVs, and managing ventilated patients

Preferred Experience / Skills

• EPIC charting experience
• Experience with ICP monitoring, vasoactive drugs, and post-op recovery in a high-acuity trauma center
• Ability to work within a fast-paced, multi-specialty surgical recovery unit
