Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care for patients on the IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units.
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and dysrhythmias.
• Manage cardiac drips and perform sheath removal procedures.
• Assist with post-MI care, pre/post-cardiac catheterizations, and management of related patient diagnostics.
• Support patient care procedures including chest tubes, external CPAP/BIPAP, and non-invasive airway management.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience on a cardiac floor.
• Current RN license in North Carolina or a compact license valid in North Carolina.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Experience with cardiac telemetry, sheath management, interpretation of dysrhythmias, and cardiac drips management.
• Ability to pass EKG testing prior to start.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Arterial line management.
• Wound care and wound vac application.
• Charge nurse experience.
