• Full-time, Contract, Days shift, 13-week assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute nursing care to telemetry patients in a designated hospital unit
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• Administer medications, including cardiac drips, and manage respiratory needs such as advanced airways and oxygen therapy
• Perform procedures such as stress tests, heart catheterizations, and chest tube management
• Document patient care accurately in the electronic medical record system
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Valid and current CPR certification
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience in a hospital setting
• Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Experience with respiratory management, including advanced airways and oxygen therapy
• Ability to manage cardiac drips (non-titrated)
• Must be able to work 12-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM

Preferred Experience / Skills

• ACLS/ALS certification
• Experience with procedures such as stress tests, heart cath, thoracentesis, or chest tube placement
• Ability to float to Med Surg, Telemetry, and Emergency Department holding units
