Tech IR/Special Procedures

Job Title

• IR / Vascular Tech

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, day shifts, 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts, rotating days

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare procedure suites and ensure radiation safety protocols are followed before procedures
• Calibrate and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and hemodynamics monitoring equipment
• Assist physicians during procedures such as device exchanges, guidewire manipulations, catheter placements, balloon and stent deployments
• Manage radiation dose and imaging angles to ensure safety and quality during procedures
• Restock and clean rooms, assist with room turnover, and remove sheaths when necessary

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology (IR) procedures
• Certifications in ACLS and BLS
• Experience with EMR systems such as Merge, Cerner, or Siemens

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Specific experience in neuro procedures (coiling, thrombectomy, embolizations)
• Vascular procedures including fem-pops, AAA repair, carotid, EVAR, and angio
• Ability to work in a hybrid vascular setting and adapt to rotating call schedules
