Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Night shift (3x12 hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to patients in the Labor and Delivery unit during night shifts.
- Administer medications and conduct IV starts as required.
- Monitor patient status and assist in managing labor and delivery processes.
- Document patient care accurately in the EPIC electronic health record system.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure quality patient outcomes.
- Float to other units as needed per hospital policy.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience.
- Valid Compact or Ohio nursing license in hand at the time of submission.
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications.
- Experience with IV starts and EPIC electronic health records.
- Ability to complete fingerprinting requirements promptly.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred.
- Experience working in high-volume maternity units.
- Familiarity with Ohio fingerprinting process and credentialing.
