Full-time, contract, 3x12-hour shifts, day and night rotations, onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units at a major hospital facility.
• Monitor and interpret ECG rhythms, administer medications, and manage patient conditions according to clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient progress and communicate effectively with team members and families.
• Adhere to hospital policies, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
• Support hospital operations by working assigned shifts, including every other holiday.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of permanent recent experience in the applicable specialty (travel experience accepted).
• Ohio license or valid compact state license in Hand.
• Active and current American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation.
• Ability to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including days and nights.
• Successful completion of background checks, drug screens, and fingerprinting within required timeframes.
• References from a supervisor or manager in the specialty.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Recent travel experience in a progressive care or stepdown setting.
• Experience with PCU or similar units.
• Ability to recognize and respond to arrhythmias and complex patient needs.
