Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days shift (3x12-hour shifts per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within an acute care hospital setting
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and dysrhythmias for adult patients
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient assessments and treatments accurately in the electronic charting system
- Adhere to all safety, clinical, and hospital policies
- Ensure timely administration of medications and patient education
Required Qualifications
- SC license or Compact license in hand prior to start
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSST certifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical, Telemetry, or related fields
- Experience interpreting dysrhythmias and telemetry monitoring
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Community hospital experience preferred
- Ability to float within scope to meet facility needs
