Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, temporary, day shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide pediatric critical care to infants, children, and adolescents within the PICU and other pediatric units.
• Float within scope to meet facility needs across various pediatric units, including CVPICU, NICU, and PICU.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver comprehensive patient care and monitor patient responses.
• Adhere to hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards.
• Document patient care accurately and promptly in line with clinical guidelines.
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations, including every other weekend shifts.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience.
• South Carolina RN license or Multi-State/Compact State licensing.
• BLS and PALS certifications (American Heart Association preferred).
• Ability to work 3 days per week, 12-hour days (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM).
• Willingness to float across pediatric units as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with ECMO and CRRT therapies.
• Prior float pool experience preferred.
• Ability to accommodate block scheduling with manager approval.

Additional Notes

• Candidates must submit RTO requests at time of application; approval is based on unit needs.
• Local candidates within 60 miles are preferred and may be considered at a reduced rate.
• Hurricane season runs from June to November; staff may be assigned to emergency response duties during this period.
• Prior to reporting, candidates must obtain an active SC RN license or proof of application.
