Registered Nurse PICU

Job Title: Registered Nurse - PICU

Location: Charleston, SC

Schedule / Job Type: Full-time, on-site, 3 days per week, 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized nursing care to pediatric patients in the PICU, NICU, and CVPICU units.
• Float within scope to all Pediatric units as needed to meet facility requirements.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Adhere to all hospital protocols, including holiday and weekend rotations.
• Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
• Support emergency response when required during hurricane season and other incidents.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid South Carolina or Multi-State/Compact RN License.
• Minimum of 2 years of Pediatric ICU experience.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications (American Heart Association accepted).
• Ability to work 3x12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Preferred Experience / Skills:

• Experience with ECMO and CRRT is highly preferred.
• Flexibility to accommodate block scheduling with managerial approval.
• Prior experience floating across pediatric units is a plus.
