- 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac and telemetry patients
- Monitor patient vital signs and cardiac rhythms using telemetry equipment
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Assess patient conditions and respond to emergency situations promptly
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely
- Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state of Kansas
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience
- Experience in telemetry or cardiac care preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a travel assignment
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
