Job Title
• Therapist - Occupational Therapist

Location
• Bismarck, ND

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Days, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday with occasional weekends every 4-6 weeks

Key Responsibilities
• Assess clients/patients/residents and develop individualized occupational therapy treatment plans
• Help clients improve, maintain, or recover the ability to perform daily tasks through targeted interventions
• Conduct evaluations of physical, cognitive, developmental, and psychosocial abilities
• Document assessments, therapeutic goals, and treatment progress in accordance with regulatory and departmental standards
• Educate clients/patients/residents and their families to enhance understanding and improve functional outcomes
• Participate in departmental activities, including cross-unit coverage and community engagement

Required Qualifications
• Valid licensure in the state of practice as an Occupational Therapist
• Certification through the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Proficiency with electronic medical record systems (such as EPIC) for documentation

Preferred Experience / Skills
• Prior experience working in an acute care setting
• Knowledge of age-related treatment protocols and current research-based practices
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
