Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to residents in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities.
- Monitor patient health and record symptoms and changes in condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.
- Document patient care activities accurately and thoroughly.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of West Virginia.
- Proven experience working in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility.
- Ability to work clinically and with residents in a compassionate manner.
- Good documentation and communication skills.
- Knowledge of safety and health regulations applicable to LTC/SNF settings.
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience working with elderly or chronically ill patients.
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
