Key Responsibilities

• Perform echocardiograms and vascular ultrasound procedures for inpatient and emergency department patients.
• Ensure accurate and high-quality imaging to support clinical diagnosis.
• Participate in on-call rotation, including weekends and holidays, with on-site presence within one hour of call.
• Assist in training and sharing knowledge with colleagues, including fellows and students.
• Occasionally travel to remote care facilities with portable ultrasound equipment for outpatient exams.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited technical or associate degree program in Radiology or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience in intermediate-level echocardiography or vascular skills.
• Certification as a Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) through CCI or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) through ARDMS.
• Proficiency in transthoracic echocardiography.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire or transfer.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Familiarity with Philips iE33/EPIQ ultrasound systems.
• Experience training or mentoring clinical team members and students.
