Full-time, contract, rotating shifts, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical/Telemetry unit within a hospital setting.
• Adhere to rotating shift schedules, including day and night shifts.
• Complete clinical assessments, monitor patient vital signs, and respond to patient needs promptly.
• Document patient information accurately and in compliance with hospital policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with all safety, licensing, and certification requirements during the assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio license or Compact State license, with active license in hand at the time of submission.
• Minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in the specialty being applied for prior to travel assignments.
• Recent 18 months of experience in Medical Surgical/Telemetry, including travel experience.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and SafeMedicate assessments during orientation (acceptable scores required).
• Must work at least every other holiday during the assignment.
• Completion of BCI/FBI background checks within 48 hours of signing contract.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience working in a hospital setting at Cleveland Clinic or similar facility.
• Knowledge of hospital-specific protocols and electronic medical records systems.
• Ability to efficiently recognize and respond to cardiac rhythms.
