Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to patients in the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) focusing on open-heart surgery admissions, critical monitoring, and post-operative care.
• Manage pressure monitoring, Swan-Ganz catheter management, and Impella device oversight.
• Monitor and treat patients requiring Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT).
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and adherence to care protocols.
• Document patient assessments and interventions accurately in the EMR system.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of professional RN experience in a critical care setting.
• Valid WV or Compact RN license (pending license acceptable).
• Experience in direct open-heart admissions and cardiac surgery skills.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS through American Heart Association.
• Proficiency in EMR systems, preferably Cerner.
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled.
• Must have references within the past 2 years demonstrating relevant experience.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with pressure monitoring, Swan-Ganz, Impella, and CRRT management.
• Travel experience is not required but prior critical care experience is essential.
