- Travel, 13-week assignment
- Night shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 3 shifts per week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialized critical care nursing for ICU patients, including those on balloon pumps, CRRT, hypothermia protocols, and post-heart cath procedures.
- Monitor and operate advanced equipment such as balloon pumps, CRRT machines, and hypothermia devices.
- Administer medication drips, perform cardioversion, and manage central lines.
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to ICU policies and protocols.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to deliver quality patient care.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in Kansas
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NIH certification preferred or nice to have
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Minimum of 2 years ICU experience, preferably in a similar critical care setting
- Experience with advanced cardiac procedures and equipment
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
