Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical unit within a Level I Trauma Center.
• Assist in patient assessment, medication administration, and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure quality care.
• Document patient information accurately in electronic health records.
• Support first-time travelers with a focus on compliance and safety standards.
• Follow all facility protocols, including trauma experience and travel compliance requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Valid LVN or LPN license.
• Recent experience (minimum 2 years) in Medical Surgical nursing.
• Certified in IV Therapy (LPN-IV certification is a firm requirement).
• Experience in a Level I Trauma or large hospital setting preferred.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts (days).

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 3+ years of recent clinical experience.
• Cerner EMR system experience preferred.
• Experience working in a trauma or high-acuity environment.

Additional Notes

• Shifts are 3 days per week, 12 hours each.
• Candidates must be available to work during peak holiday periods, including at least one of the major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's).
