• Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical

Schedule / Job Type
• Full-time, Night shifts (3x12 hours) per week
Key Responsibilities
• Provide patient care in a Medical Surgical unit within a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet Hospital
• Float to various med-surg floors at main hospital and Ashley River Tower as needed
• Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and document care using EPIC electronic health record system
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure quality care and patient safety
• Work a schedule of 3 night shifts per week, including weekends and holidays as part of rotation
• Participate in a holiday rotation schedule and be on call as required
Required Qualifications
• Active South Carolina RN license or multi-state/compact license
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant RN experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• BLS certification required at the time of submission
• Ability to work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Preferred Experience / Skills
• Previous experience working in a Level I Trauma or teaching hospital setting
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic health record system
• Availability to work a block schedule upon manager approval

Additional Details
• Facility: Level I Trauma Center with 820 beds, designated as a Magnet Hospital and teaching institution
• Parking: Available through the hospital parking management office with a $20 permit fee
• Hurricanes Season: Employees may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June to November)
• COVID-19 and travel compliance required, including submission of SSN and RTO details
• Locals are accepted on a case-by-case basis at a reduced rate, with priority given to South Carolina licensed candidates
• RTO requests must be submitted at the time of application; last-minute requests may delay onboarding
