Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Contract (13 weeks), Day shifts (4x12 hours), weekdays with every other weekend

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute care and telemetry monitoring for a diverse patient population, including occasional pediatric and adolescent patients.
• Float to various units, including ICU, to cover patient care needs as assigned.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and utilize EMR systems to document patient care accurately.
• Support the House Supervisor as needed to ensure high-quality patient care and safety.
• Maintain compliance with required certifications and hospital protocols throughout the assignment.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license (WV or Compact; pending license accepted) with a minimum of 2 years of RN experience in acute care or telemetry settings.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with PALS is preferred.
• Strong telemetry skills, with experience in pediatrics and charge responsibilities preferred.
• Ability to float to different units, including ICU, with competence.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Pediatric and adolescent care experience.
• Charge nurse experience.
• Previous travel or floating experience in acute care settings.
