Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall patient care in the emergency room setting during night shifts
- Monitor and assess patients, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with medical team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Document patient information accurately using Cerner electronic health records
- Respond promptly to emergency situations, administering necessary treatments
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety protocols
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in emergency room nursing
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification
- Certifications in PALS, ACLS, NIHSS preferred or required
- Experience with Cerner electronic health record system
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in fast-paced ER environments
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
