• Full-time, Nights, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Administer direct patient care in IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units following established clinical protocols.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, interpret telemetry, and respond to emergent cardiac and medical situations.
• Manage IV therapy, medication administration, and wound care procedures.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in electronic medical records.
• Assist in patient education and discharge planning as needed, ensuring safety and compliance.

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of Missouri or allowable compact state.
• Minimum of 2 years recent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units with telemetry monitoring.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
• Proficient in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and emergency response procedures.
• Ability to float within scope across various units as needed.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous charge nurse and teaching hospital experience.
• Experience with complex cardiac, neurological, and medical-surgical patients.
• Knowledge of infusion pump operation and chemotherapy monitoring is a plus.
