Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to adult patients in an acute care inpatient setting.
• Perform lifting and transfer of patients, utilizing appropriate skills and safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans.
• Document patient progress and treatment details accurately in the EMR system.
• Ensure compliance with all facility and regulatory standards related to patient care.
• Assist in patient education regarding rehabilitation exercises and mobility.

Required Qualifications

• Valid license as a Physical Therapist in the state of South Carolina.
• At least 1 year of recent experience in an adult acute care or rehabilitation hospital setting.
• Strong lifting and transfer skills consistent with patient safety standards.
• Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically Epic EMR experience preferred.
• Ability to work day shift hours and adhere to schedule requirements.
• Must be willing to work in a floating capacity as needed, to various units within the hospital.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous acute care or rehabilitation hospital experience.
• Experience with adult cardiac tele, medical tele, or progressive care units.
• Professional experience with adult ICU patients is a plus.
