Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, day shifts, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts, short-term acute care facility

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the IMC/PCU/Stepdown unit
• Monitor and document patient vitals, medications, and responses to treatment using Epic EMR system
• Float within scope to all three hospitals within a 20-mile radius to meet facility needs
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Adhere to hospital policies, including Nicotine-free requirement and safety protocols
• Prioritize time-sensitive modules and cardiac drips for optimal patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in PCU and ICU settings
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications (must be available at submission)
• NIHSS certification (must be obtained prior to start)
• Valid Florida RN license or pending license accepted
• EPIC EMR experience, preferably with levels 3 or 4 familiarity
• Negative 10 Panel Drug Screen + Nicotine (Cotinine) within 12 months of start date

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac drips and time-sensitive medication modules
• Prior travel nursing experience preferred but not required
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
