Key Responsibilities
- Provide perioperative nursing care in the vascular operating room for complex vascular procedures such as endovascular, TEVAR, FEVAR, AAA, EVAR, thrombectomy, amputation, carotid, AV fistula, and more
- Scrub and circulate for high-acuity vascular surgeries, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols
- Work 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts from 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with on-call responsibilities averaging 5-8 calls per month, including weekends and holidays
- Assist with patient preparation, monitoring during procedures, and post-operative care in a Level I Trauma Center and Magnet hospital setting
- Comply with hospital policies including radiation badge management and documentation requirements
Required Qualifications
- Current SC or multi-state RN license, active at start of contract
- BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
- Radiation badge (agency-provided)
- Minimum of 2 years acute vascular surgical experience, able to scrub and circulate complex cases
- Experience working in a high-capacity hospital environment preferred
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EPIC electronic charting system
- Familiarity with hospital emergency response protocols during hurricane season
- Prior travel nursing experience considered a plus

Additional Notes
- On-call required; candidate must be able to respond to calls including weekends and holidays
- RTO (time off) requests must be submitted at the time of application for approval
- Local candidates within 60 miles will be prioritized and considered at a reduced rate
- Candidate must complete South Carolina license requirements prior to start
- Multiple shifts off within two weeks may be arranged with agency approval
- Employees might be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season (June-November)
- Travel compliance and pre-screening documentation, including SSN, are required for submission
