Tech IR/Special Procedures

Job Title

• Interventional Radiology (IR) / Special Procedures Tech

Location

• Miami, FL

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, travel, 4 days per week, days shifts, 10.5-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with a full range of interventional radiology procedures, including neuro, structural (TAVR, Mitra Clip), carotid stenting, peripheral arterial cases, and lumbar punctures.
• Support neuro-interventional procedures with high-level technical skills and adherence to protocols.
• Prepare and operate advanced imaging equipment such as GE Imaging systems.
• Document procedures accurately using MacLab and Meditech systems.
• Collaborate with a team of 1-2 RNs and 1-2 techs per case, ensuring patient safety and efficient workflow.
• Respond promptly to call shifts within 30 minutes as required.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license, ACLS, and BLS certifications.
• RCIS or similar procedural/cardiology certification.
• Vascular IR procedural experience and knowledge of cath lab/IR protocols.
• Neuro-interventional experience highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills, adaptability to fast-paced environments.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Additional certifications such as CVT or ARRT.
• Previous travel experience and ability to operate independently.
• Knowledge of neuro, vascular, and interventional imaging techniques.
