Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and oversight of resident care services in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
• Develop and manage annual budgets, recruit and staff the team, and ensure compliance with all regulations and laws.
• Lead the management and auditing of electronic medical records (EMR), including staff training and report generation.
• Participate in survey processes, quality assurance, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Ensure resident assessments, care plans, and interventions are thorough, accurate, and regularly updated in accordance with federal and state guidelines.
• Oversee resident rights, notify physicians of changes, and ensure proper documentation and record-keeping.
• Promote a resident-centered environment, ensuring residents are offered choices and are free from neglect or abuse.
• Supervise staff performance, conduct care conferences, and foster a collaborative team environment.
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and antibiotic stewardship programs.

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Registered nurse licensure for the applicable state.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Ability to communicate effectively and understand complex clinical information.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Supervisory experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility setting.
• Familiarity with EMR systems and regulatory survey processes.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and decision-making skills.
