- Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown
Location
- Anchorage, AK
Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, travel, overnight shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high acuity care for patients in a step-down observation unit
- Monitor patients using bedside monitors and perform assessments
- Collaborate with nursing team to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Document care and patient information accurately in electronic medical records (EPIC)
- Participate in on-call and weekend rotations as required
Required Qualifications
- Valid Alaska RN license at the time of submission (permanent license only, no temporary licensing accepted)
- At least 1 year of telemetry experience
- At least 1 year of step-down care experience
- Must have ACLS and BLS certifications
- Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with high acuity telemetry or step-down units
- Familiarity with bedside monitors and EPIC electronic health records
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
