Job Title

• Registered Nurse - LTAC

Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in a long-term acute care setting.
• Float within hospital units including ICU step-down, Brain Health, and LTC Vent unit to support patient needs.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient conditions, utilizing specialized skills for ventilator and complex respiratory support.
• Administer medications, manage medical devices such as G-tubes, PICC lines, chest tubes, and tracheostomies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies on attendance and timely reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Maryland or Compact nursing license.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a critical care or LTAC setting.
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills for patient assessment and care interventions.
• Ability to work night shifts and flexible with floating within hospital units.
• References required.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for ventilated patients with complex respiratory needs.
• Knowledge of specialty equipment such as mechanical ventilators, high flow nasal cannula, and medical monitors.
• Experience with neurological and post-rehabilitation patient care is a plus.
