Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care to long-term care and skilled nursing facility residents
- Float to other units as needed, including dementia care populations
- Adhere to facility protocols and maintain compliance with all licensing and safety standards
- Document patient care accurately and timely in electronic medical records (EMR)
- Work every other weekend to ensure continuous resident care
Required Qualifications
- Valid LVN or LPN license in the state of Vermont
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in long-term care or skilled nursing facilities
- BLS certification through AHA
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred
- Ability to float between units and work with dementia patients
- Reliable transportation and vehicle suitable for seasonal weather
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with EMR documentation systems
- Comfort working with diverse patient populations, including dementia care
