• Nights, 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Float to various Intermediate Care (IMC), Progressive Care Unit (PCU), and Stepdown units as needed.
• Provide high-quality patient care to individuals with complex medical conditions, including oncology and hematology cases.
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data and manage cardiac rhythms.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and manage advanced airway devices such as CPAP and BIPAP.
• Ensure patient safety and compliance within a secure correctional environment, following all safety protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including pharmacy, physical therapy, radiology, respiratory services, and social services to coordinate patient care.

Required Qualifications

• Valid Ohio or Compact state RN license in hand at time of submission.
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• EPIC charting experience is required.
• Experience with patient monitoring systems such as telemetry.
• Knowledge of IV therapy, medication administration, and emergency response protocols.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Oncology and hematology experience preferred but not required.
• Experience working in a correctional or secure environment is a plus.
• Familiarity with Pyxis medication system and related hospital systems.

Additional Information

• This is a 13-16 week contract with night shifts, requiring compliance with Ohio fingerprinting procedures prior to start.
• Travel and RTO (Request for Time Off) considerations apply; RTO must be built into the contract.
• Only candidates within driving distance or willing to complete fingerprinting in Ohio will be considered.
• Three shifts per week, 12 hours each, with potential variation based on unit needs.
