Schedule / Job Type
- Full-time, Days shift, Onsite, 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week
Key Responsibilities
- Independently perform Nuclear Medicine procedures, including general nuclear medicine and cardiology studies, utilizing proper techniques and radiopharmaceuticals
- Administer medications and operate imaging equipment according to scope of practice, licensure, and certification
- Coordinate patient flow and manage departmental activities, ensuring radiation safety and protection practices
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure good working condition
- Perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed based on departmental requirements
- Adhere to radiation safety and departmental protocols while exercising professional judgment
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Allied Health, major in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- CPR Certification
- Nuclear Medicine Technologist registry (NMTCB or ARRT RT(R))
- Ohio Department of Health licensure (pending OK)
- Valid RN license accepted (can apply for temporary license), with up to 10 days processing time
Preferred Experience / Skills
- One year of experience in Nuclear Medicine
- Knowledge of radiation safety and patient management in imaging settings
