Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, nights, 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients during night shifts
• Read and interpret cardiac rhythms accurately and pass hospital proctored rhythm identification test with ?80% accuracy
• Float within ICU as needed, based on skill set and hospital requirements
• Complete Epic-charting documentation effectively
• Adhere to infection control protocols, including flu vaccination or exemption
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and participate in required training modules

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of current ICU experience
• NY State Nursing License in good standing
• Valid BLS and ACLS certifications
• Ability to read cardiac rhythms and pass rhythm recognition assessments with ?80% accuracy
• Experience with Epic electronic charting system
• Recent certification in NIH Stroke Scale (or able to obtain)
• Must be fully vaccinated against flu or have approved exemption

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Travel experience in an ICU setting
• Experience with Relias EKG exams and passing onsite rhythm verification tests
• Prior experience working in a hospital environment with floating responsibilities
