Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, 12-hour night shifts, travel assignment

Key Responsibilities

• Provide acute inpatient nursing care on the PCU/IMC/Stepdown unit, including management of cardiac, respiratory, and post-procedure patients.
• Float regularly to various units as needed, ensuring seamless patient care delivery.
• Administer medications such as insulin drips, cardiac drips, and vasodilators; start IVs, monitor invasive devices, and perform post-cardiac cath care.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to meet patient needs while adhering to unit protocols.
• Document patient status and interventions accurately in EPIC EMR system.

Required Qualifications

• State RN license (active and on file)
• AHA BLS and ACLS certification (NIHSS prior to start)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent telemetry experience
• Experience with IV starts, cardiac and insulin drips, post-cardiac cath care
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in a similar setting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-unit float team
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
