- Full-time, night shifts (3x12-hour nights per week)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in a medical-surgical unit operating on a modified modular nursing model
- Assess patient conditions, implement care plans, and monitor patient progress in a busy, complex environment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient outcomes
- Adapt to unit needs by floating within the scope of practice to similar units as required
- Maintain accurate documentation using the EPIC electronic charting system
- Participate in holiday rotation and weekend shifts as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Valid South Carolina or multi-state/compact RN license
- BLS certification
- At least 1 year of recent medical-surgical nursing experience
- Ability to work night shifts including holiday and weekend rotations
- Willingness to float within scope between similar units
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a Level I Trauma Center or Teaching Hospital setting
- Prior experience with complex GI and bariatric patient care
- Familiarity with EPIC electronic health records
