Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in IMC, PCU, and Stepdown units.
• Monitor patient vital signs, administer medications, and perform assessments.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans.
• Document patient progress and clinical interventions accurately in electronic medical records.
• Respond to acute patient needs and emergencies promptly.
• Support patient education and discharge planning.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the state of Alaska.
• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in IMC, PCU, or Stepdown units.
• Proficient in IV therapy, telemetry monitoring, and post-surgical care.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with cardiac and neuro patient care.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR system.
• Ability to multitask and demonstrate strong teamwork and communication skills.
