Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, night shifts, 3x12-hour shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to telemetry patients, including reading rhythms and managing critical situations
• Accurately interpret EKG rhythms and pass hospital proctored tests with required scores
• Work within the hospital’s float policy, providing coverage as needed within skill set and facility guidelines
• Complete all mandatory modules and certifications prior to orientation, including Relias EKG exam
• Adhere to local and hospital-specific compliance policies, including flu vaccination requirements or exemptions

Required Qualifications

• Valid New York State RN license in hand
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least one year in telemetry or critical care settings
• Experience reading rhythms and passing hospital rhythm identification assessments with >80% accuracy
• Epic charting experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Critical drip management and CVA experience
• Experience working in ED, ICU, Cath Lab, or Urgent Care units
• Travel experience and ability to float within the hospital as needed
