• Full-time, Night shift, 12-hour shifts

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect nursing care to residents in long-term care and skilled nursing facilities.
• Collaborate with care teams to create a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment.
• Assist residents, including those with Alzheimer's/Dementia and recovery from surgeries, with personalized care plans.
• Monitor and document resident conditions, administer medications, and perform wound care as needed.
• Adapt communication techniques to effectively support residents with challenging behaviors.
• Float to other units as needed to ensure continuous patient coverage.

Required Qualifications

• Valid RN license in the State of Maine or a valid compact RN license.
• 1-3 years of previous RN experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts and cover multiple units.

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience caring for residents with dementia or behavioral health needs.
• Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of IV therapy, wound care, and geriatric assessment is a plus.
