Schedule / Job Type

• Full-time, Night shifts (12 hours) – 3 shifts per week

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized nursing care to cardiac step-down patients, including those with pulmonary, cardiac, neuro, GI, and post-surgical conditions.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and manage critical drips such as Amiodarone, Esmolol, Insulin, Lasix, Cardizem, and Nitroglycerin.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure patient stability and prompt escalation of care if needed.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to facility protocols.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with all regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• At least 1 year of recent nursing experience in a cardiac, step-down, or critical care setting

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Previous experience managing critical drips and telemetry monitoring
• Familiarity with pulmonary, neuro, and surgical patient care
• Strong assessment and communication skills
