Key Responsibilities
- Provide skilled monitoring and assistance during cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures in a busy acute care hospital.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to ensure patient safety and protocol adherence.
- Maintain and operate specialized imaging and monitoring equipment in the Cath Lab/EP suite.
- Adhere to hospital policies, including strict no-tobacco use and nicotine testing protocols.
- Participate in on-call rotations, responding to STEMI activations within 30 minutes.
- Support patient care before, during, and after procedures, including documentation in electronic charting systems.
Required Qualifications
- ARRT certification or valid MD license, or RCIS with IR experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications.
- At least 2 years of related experience in a Cath Lab or EP setting.
- Current state license in Maryland at the time of submission.
- Ability to work 4 consecutive days per week, with on-call duties required.
- Negative nicotine drug screen (no tobacco, vaping, or nicotine products).
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Cerner or McKesson charting systems.
- Familiarity with hospital protocols and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
- Ability to float between units as needed within hospital or affiliated facilities.
